This is actually the only way that my cat drinks water now.

Apparently this is a common-ish problem with cats. You can actually get these little cat bubbler things, like one of those office water coolers only instead of just draining into the cat bowl, it has a little device that constantly agitates the water, so the cat thinks it's running and therefore I guess cleaner or more interesting or something (cats aren't very smart).
