Merry Dishmas 2013

Well it is almost two years since I posted my last comic here, but being in a festive mood I decided it would be nice to revisit the site. I miss doing these comics, and I hope to have a proper home for my new comics soon. In any case, I hope you enjoy this little Dishmas gift.

Hi folks!  This will be the last comic I upload to this site.  There are a few reasons why, but they're not terribly important enough to get into.  I'm so grateful that people have read and enjoyed these comics, and I felt bad leaving the site without some sort of sendoff.

This site started off as a way to make sure that I did the dishes every night (seriously).  I didn't expect to get the readership and encouragement that I did, and it was thrilling to feel a responsibility associated with this stuff.  In comparison to other comics on the net this was a very short-lived venture, but it taught me how much I want to keep on doing this.

This site will remain up indefinitely, but I'll be directing my efforts to other projects that I hope I will be able to provide links to in the not-so-distant future.

Thank you again to everyone who took time to follow my first awkward steps onto the net, and who provided me with feedback and encouragement.  You are all extremely classy people.

You bye for now.

Matthew

EDIT: I will be putting drawings of a non-specific nature up here

This is actually the only way that my cat drinks water now.

I've had some folks ask me about posting comments, and I just realized that it required you to sign in.  I've changed it so you can post anonymously if you so desire.

Thanks for stopping by, and thanks for the feedback I've been receiving!  It means a lot to me that folks are enjoying these comics.

This Monday I'm doing something pretty cool.  Icelandic composer Atli Heimir Sveinsson is doing a lecture at the University of Calgary, and I'll be playing some selections of his music for solo flute!  It's very neat stuff.
